Deleting your Torrere account

You do not need the app open to do this, and you do not need a subscription to be cancelled first.

How to ask

Send an email to support@torrere.com from the address on your account, with Delete my account as the subject. That address is how we know the request is yours, so it has to be the one you signed up with.

We reply to confirm, and once you confirm, it is done. Expect the whole thing to take a day or two, and a message at the end telling you what was removed.

What gets removed

It is permanent. There is no archive to restore from on request and we cannot undo it for you afterwards, so be sure before you confirm. If you only want to stop paying, cancel the subscription instead — support explains how — and the account stays where it is.

What we keep, and why

A small amount, and each piece for a reason we can point at:

The privacy policy sets all of this out in full, including the one limit we cannot design away: a conversation that the AI provider's own safety systems flagged may be held on their side for up to two years, which is outside our reach and outside what any deletion here can promise.

Backups

We keep database backups for 35 days. A restore inside that window could bring data back, so we keep a permanent record of every deletion and replay it as the first step after any restore — a deleted account cannot quietly come back to life.

If your subscription is still running

Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store — only Apple can do that, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancel it first, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists. A subscription bought in a browser we can cancel for you at the same time; say so in the email.
